Challenge Your Challenges

Step back for a moment, and if you can, step back right now.

We do not need to carry guilt for all that we think we are not and what we should be.

All we have is how we respond to each and every day of our lives.

Anxiety enters our lives and our hearts start beating faster and we feel like we cannot fully breathe.

Overwhelming thoughts kick in when we start to feel we have to control things we cannot control.

When we can face and accept what comes to us as a challenge to our souls, we find the best way to deal with what is in front of us.

We learn to cope and when we learn to cope, we start to look at the possible ways to work that challenge as opposed to feeling like it is on top of us weighing us down.

God gave us the tools we need. We have always had them and you have them right now as you read this.

Instead of allowing your own mind to put ourselves down, tell those thoughts they are not true. Tell them they have never been true and that you are going to work at not listening to them anymore.

Put them on notice.

Then when those thoughts come up, speak in an opposite voice to yourself that you are here.

You are happy to be here and no matter what challenges you. Challenges will only strengthen your mind to find the best of yourself.

When you can be proud of your challenges, they take on a new face.

They become a face you can look at and see.

Talkback to the voice that talks at you.

That is your biggest challenge and once you can talk back, your voice is being heard by the most important person it needs to be heard by.

YOU.
