Healing You

A lot goes on in life. We think that if one thing falls into place or us, or into play for us, everything else will fall into place too.

That is not true. That belief took us for a long ride to nothing and to no one.

You already are in place. You already are in play. You are already happy with stuff on top of it.

How we deal with the stuff on top of our happiness determines how our life is live, seen, touched and who our life interacts with.

Look at yourself today. Right now. As you are. Great things about you. Things you believe are flaws about you. How you confront your issues and why you confront them the way you do. All good because it is all you.
Who you are is not who you think you are. As well as looking at yourself from the inside out without challenge to those thoughts, take what others say about you, to you and listen with your heart this time. Don’t take away from it, don’t say they don’t know the real you and don’t leave the beauty of what they say on the table. Pick it up off the table and put your focus on the observations of your life that serve you well.

We need balance now more than ever. We need ourselves to be aware of us more than ever. That is the missing link. We tend to think in all or nothing.

Nothing is all or nothing, not even your birth. You were not born in a day. You were conceived in one day. And all the other days were the preparation to bring you to life. It took your Mom and Dad. It took your Mom. Then it took caring after you to bring you to understanding. Yet once we can think for ourselves we want everything faster than we can think about it.

Again we were taught another ride at the same carnival and that is to think everything happens at once. A close cousin to everything falling into place through one event.

You are a process and today, you happen to be where you are. Acknowledgment of your process allows you to see your life as a body of work that defines you and not a major event that will validate and then define you.
Take a great, big old fashion deep breath and let yourself know you have done your best all the way until today even if you find a way to take it away from yourself afterward.

Say you are your best today over and over again throughout your day. Say you are love and that you are loved every chance you get. It’s ok to laugh at yourself but say it anyway.

It will give your brain the symbolic eyes and ears to start to work within you, with you.

Healing comes to you as you know you are healing your soul by paying attention to it with compassion and patience.
